PillArm is a medication app built by GM Insurance, open to anyone who wants to sign up. We built it because helping people protect what matters does not stop at insurance: families everywhere juggle prescriptions, refills and schedules, and a small tool goes a long way. Photograph a prescription bottle and the app reads the label and fills out the dosage and schedule for you. From there it runs the daily reminders, flags risky combinations, finds you the nearest pharmacy when it is time to refill, and lets one account handle medications for kids, a spouse and aging parents in the same place.
What it does
Scan-the-bottle setup
Snap a photo of a prescription label and PillArm extracts the medication name, dosage and schedule, so you skip the typing.
Per-dose reminders
Morning, afternoon, evening and bedtime alarms so a dose never slips by, with a one-tap log of what was taken.
Drug-interaction safety checks
PillArm flags risky combinations across your medication list and suggests safer spacing between doses, with a clear reminder that nothing replaces a conversation with your pharmacist or physician.
Family profiles
One account, separate profiles for kids, a spouse and aging parents. Caregivers see the full picture without juggling logins.
Pill identifier
Find a loose pill by photographing its imprint, color and shape. Useful for emptied bottles and travel kits.
Refills and nearby pharmacy finder
PillArm warns you before you run out and surfaces nearby pharmacies so you can reorder without breaking your routine.
Fever tracker
Built-in Motrin and Tylenol alternation timers with safe spacing, designed for parents managing a sick child overnight.
Expiration alerts
Automatic email reminders fourteen and seven days before a prescription expires, so nothing in the cabinet quietly lapses.
PillArm is a software tool, not medical advice. It does not replace your pharmacist or physician and does not adjust medication doses on its own.
